Our Pricing Explained:
Buying direct from us differs from traditional food outlet purchasing in several ways. We offer the boxed packages described and priced above, already portioned (for two), vacuum packaged and fresh frozen. For whole and half carcass orders on a pre-order basis, customers can specify cutting and packaging instructions with our processor.
Beef are processed by Northwest Premium Meats, LLC in Nampa, Idaho, a USDA inspected plant. Carcasses are dry aged an average of 14 to 21 days before cutting to allow for nature’s tenderizing process and flavor enhancement.
A Note about Cooking our Meat:
Due to the leanness and lest insulating fat than grain-fed/processed meat, our Pasture Proper™ beef is delicate and best cooked slowly (further from the flame for a longer period of time). The flavor and tenderness are well worth the wait! Read a Sustainable Table web article about cooking grass-fed beef.
Whew! It’s true; there are options! A little like life. But, what is also true is that the final cost is a value for the quality and wholesomeness, no matter how you choose it. Plus you have the comfort of knowing where your meat is coming from, how it was raised and processed. Pasture Proper™ has done all the work to assure our family ranch raised products make your choice the best possible. Please call us or e-mail for answers to any questions.
